Bio

Accomplished, motivated Renewable Energy Engineer with strong analytical and process skills combined with more than four years of experience as a Power Electronics Engineer and Researcher. Extensive educational qualifications including the pursuit of my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina with focus on Power Electronic Converters, and a Recipient of Duke Energy Research Assistantship. Earned my Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, with thesis on Center Point Clamped AC-AC Direct Power Conversion. Hands-on experience in designing power electronic converter-based solutions to mitigate grid issues, such as utility grid voltage regulation, elimination of line frequency harmonics, Active and Reactive Power Compensation, control and measurement of energy flow within the grid. Developed expertise in an array of cutting-edge engines/motors and plant-wide electrical/control systems during my tenure as a researcher. Out-of-the-box thinker with proven technical, interpersonal communication, and training skills excited to join a team focused on integrated engineering, emerging technology, renewable energy, Microgrid, or Distributed Energy Resource Management .
